For what this is this is quite excellent. It is, of course, low budget and it is early 60s and it is British and it is hokey, but it is still rather good. We have become quite jaded to the twists and turns of narrative design in movies, but in the 60s this would have been deeply shocking. It acted well enough and directed well enough and with visual effects that are more than decent, even though they do look very, very silly by today's standards. It's also very short and I think that you could enjoy this movie.
