Synopsis

The landscape of Homosexual Law Reform in Aotearoa New Zealand from 1985-1986. The archival footage features coverage from mainstream media, juxtaposed with a number of excerpts from a private recording filmed in Auckland by the Auckland Women’s Community Video Collective that highlights the work and energy from the many lesbians and indigenous peoples in the campaign for equality.
